Someone told me that HC, WV and St. Henry all ended their freshman seasons prior to the first round because of COVID precautions.

That is untrue about St. Henry. St. Henry played CCH last week after the freshman tourney starting.

Cooper beating Ryle caught my eye as Ryle was a solid team.

And as usual they have a few Frosh strictly playing JV.

I was curious about that. I glanced at rosters early in the season and saw that Cov. Cath had 3 freshman playing strictly JV. This says a lot for what's in the pipeline.  I also saw that Simon Kenton has 1 also.

Thanks. I was curious why they any of them would have cancelled in the first place. Did St. Henry end up playing Cooper in Rd 1?

Simon Kenton: Robinson & Thieve

Cov Cath: Edwards, Knasel, Miller, Wagner & Zekl

Haha, I'm just a *little* more familiar with Cov Cath's team.

Boone County also has Maddox Jones and Marvin Bryant. 
Jones is 6’5 and plays JV and spot varsity. 
Bryant is strong and athletic. He can cause havoc around the rim.

Maddox Jones was a nice player for Ockerman last year. Along with Verax at Ryle and Seth Jones at CovCath, the Hawks had a very good 8th grade team.
