Colonels_Wear_Blue
Tournament is hosted at Covington Catholic. First round games began earlier in the week. I'm not sure whether or not they are going to have the Colonel Athletic Network video coverage for all of the games, but I believe they're hoping to have at least the games for the semifinals and finals covered with a $5 video broadcast, available at https://www.covcath.org/athletics/can.First round games: Covington Catholic vs. Highlands Lloyd Memorial vs. Newport Conner vs. Holmes Holy Cross vs. Simon Kenton (Simon Kenton won.) Beechwood vs. Walton-Verona (Beechwood won.) Boone County vs. Scott Cooper vs. St. Henry (Cooper won.) Bishop Brossart vs. Ryle

Honestly, I don't know a whole lot about the Cov Cath freshman team this year, unfortunately. They're either 14-3 or 15-2...I'm not positive if they won or lost against Cincy McNick earlier this month. But just looking at offensive performances from Saturday, I would have to guess the two favorites are Cooper and Cov Cath. The Jags had 56 points against Ryle, and Cov Cath had 52 against Highlands and 54 against Newport.

CovCath may be a slight favorite, but it's mostly due to depth. With so many bodies, it's just tough to get them in any type of foul trouble. But, as pointed out above, they've taken some losses this year and could certainly get beat in the semi's or finals. Cooper beating Ryle caught my eye as Ryle was a solid team.
