Saw an update this week and was VERY disappointed that the game will only be available on PS5 and Series X systems.

Yeah, that was never going to happen. They're using a new engine and specifically said they were trying to make it look and feel different than the way Madden looks and feels.  The PS4 is over a decade old, I'm surprised hardly any new games are compatible with it nowadays.  I know that's not convenient but that's a big part of how they make their money, hardware sales. 

ESPN headline says today is the first day for players to be able to opt in to being in the game.  Every player who opts in will receive $600.00 and a copy of the game. 

It would be cool if they allow teams to switch conferences and FCS schools to move up to FBS.

If conference realignment is available, it would be next level AWESOME!!!

Along the same lines, what if you could start a football team. Northern Kentucky University finally fields a team.

If nothing else, just to do the mascot head before big games.

This game better be great if I'm going all in and getting a PS5 this summer.

There are so many things that I want in this game outside of just the basic game play. 

Things I would love to see, in no order...

- Corso Mascot Head segment

- Conference realignment allowed

- FCS to FBS moves allowed

- Create a school

- Ability to design plays

- All uniform combos available for all schools

 

Article I read earlier about players opting in or out or negotiating for more money.  Every single player in the article said they had already opted in and didn't really care about the money.  One player said he was just hoping to get a copy of the game.  Everyone said having their name in the game vs just being a number, was priceless and expressed having hoped to be in a game like this since they were little kids.

I'm hoping a College Basketball game is coming next

After reading that there are no FCS teams in the game I will not be getting it.

I've seen some articles suggesting this may create the path for that.  With that said, it seems the college basketball games sales were a fraction of what the football games sales were.  Something like 1.5 million copies sold of NCAA Football in 2014, compared to 150k copies of NCAA March Madness sold in 2009(it's last year of production).  I would probably buy it if they brought it back, I loved it.
