This is getting ugly quick 5 plays 97 yards on this 2:11 drive for a 14-0 Bama lead. Bama has had the ball for less than 5 minutes and already have 176 yards. Plus the Irish have had the ball for 1 minute and 7 seconds longer than Alabama.

Yeah, it kinda looks like T/X this year.

ND needs a TD here, Mayer had single coverage when they lined up.

I don’t think anybody can, it sure looks like an NFL passing attack for Bama.

I think unless the punter for Bama is the holder for extra point attempts he could just go on back to the hotel he is not going to be needed tonight. It's clear to see why this is the early game and Ohio State and Clemson is in primetime.

Bama has 260 yards and 21 points in just over 7 minutes.

At this point I think it’s a genuine question of which offense is better: LSU last year or Bama this year. Devonta Smith is probably the best college wide receiver I’ve ever seen. 

ND will a huge stop need points before half.

ND down14 at half. Kelly needs to recruit a FG kicker.

Hey Irish fans should think me I made the comment about the Bama punter and then the Irish got a three and out. lol

Also, where the Irish won the toss and opted for the ball Bama will get the ball to start the 2nd half.

To only be down two possessions after Bama was firing on all cylinders in that first half is big for Notre Dame. 
 

Notre Dame has to find away not to allow Bama to score to start the second half. If they could do that and then go down and get a score, it could make things interesting. 
 

This first drive in the second half is the key though.
