Coldwater maintains its two score lead over Columbus Grove, leading 34-20 early in the 4th.

Lake Catholic beats Bloom-Carroll 17-10 to advance to the Division IV title game.

Reid Carrico hauls in 23 yard touchdown pass with 8 minutes left in the 4th to give Ironton a 20-19 lead over Roger Bacon. 

A quick Ironton safety extends the lead to 22-19.

Coldwater wins 41-27.

Springfield hangs on to beat Fort Frye 16-13. FF was denied inside the 2 yard line at the end of the game.

Ironton fends off Roger Bacon 22-19 and Kirtland puts away Otsego 39-13 to set up a D5 championship rematch from last year.

I was mildly surprised Ironton beat Roger Bacon. Nice win for Ironton.

Ironton seems to have hit a home run with their Head Coaching hire.

After floundering in mediocrity for about a decade, he has the Fighting Tigers back playing to a Championship standard their fans are accustomed to.

It's especially impressive when you consider he's just 28 and this is his first head coaching job. Ironton's numbers are way up. Biggest roster they've had since as far back as I can remember. The talent's always been there, he's just getting it back out onto the football field.

It'll be a war this weekend with Kirtland.

Most definitely. Carrico had 200+ rushing yards in the semifinals and scored all three of Ironton's touchdowns.
