Division II Championship: Hoban ended up running away with it, 35-6, over Massillon. This makes five championships in six years for the Knights. Massillon's pursuit of that elusive playoff title continues.

DevilMayCare
I really didn't expect anyone to handle this Ironton team like this. Absolute surgical precision by Kirtland and their defense made Ironton look less than competent on offense. They know how to handle their business on the big stage. Kirtland doesn't overwhelm you with talent, but they're incredibly well coached, disciplined, strong, in shape, and prepared each and every week. They seem to do all of the little things well and do nothing to beat themselves. They run a tight ship up there.
DevilMayCare
Kirtland's coach, Tiger Laverde, is now 185-17 during his time there. They've won six state titles in the last ten years and only missed the state finals once during that time. Incredible by any standard, but especially Ohio's.
