He cancels...sorry, postpones...the season, because he says they're looking at the "big" picture. But, then turns around and confirms that his son is still playing at Mississippi St, because...each, individual family has to make their own decision? What?!?!?!? Looking at the states where Miss. State would be playing games in this fall, here's the testing positivity rate for each of those over the past month (according to Johns Hopkins)... Kentucky....…..7.4% Louisiana...…..7.48% Georgia...…...12.27% Alabama.......14.61% Mississippi...22.42% By comparison, here are the testing positivity rates over the past month for the Big 10 states... New Jersey…...1.52% Michigan...…….2.44% Illinois...…..…….4.07% Ohio...…………….4.91% Pennsylvania...5.37% Maryland...…….5.38% Wisconsin.…….6.84% Indiana...….…….8.42% Nebraska...…….8.82% Iowa...…………….9.82% Minnesota.…..12.71% So, 9 of the 14 Big 10 teams are in states with a lower positivity rate than the lowest state (Kentucky) that Miss. State will be in this year. And ALL of the Big 10, is lower (by over 10 percentage points!) than where his son is supposed to play 6 of his games. And yet, the Warrens came to the conclusion that it's okay for the son to continue playing?!? But, it's too risky for the conference?!? My head hurts from trying to figure out what logic makes this all make sense.

August 23, 20206 yr Author UK students have to complete a Covid survey each morning by 8 am via email. Fraternities and Sororities are all getting retested this week. UK is trying to stay out front of it, but who knows if it will work.

Have either given any numbers we can go by ?

I work in the medical field, I’ve seen most of this first hand, long before this virus. The SEC recently announced ECG test/blood work for infected athletes. The NFL is doing the same. The high school kids will be at the highest risk. My opinions aren’t popular but I’ve seen enough in my life to put safety first, with the subject at hand.

August 27, 20206 yr 8 Nebraska players suing the B1G now, this is a thing. Warren himself said a few weeks ago “he never imagined this much push back.”
