Colonels_Wear_Blue Posted June 11, 2020 Share Posted June 11, 2020 Madison Central defensive back Emanuel "Manny" Prewitt (Class of 2021) was swimming at Lake Herrington near Coffey's Cove Marina in Boyle County on Wednesday afternoon with friends when he became "separated from the group". Authorities searched for approximately 6 hours before calling off the search at 9:30pm. The search will resume on Thursday morning at 8:30am. It sounds like an all-around difficult situation for a recovery because of the lake's depth, minimal water visibility, and an extremely craggy and uneven lake bed.
