Highlands - 2020 Schedule

Featured Replies

Yes Scott was definitely hanging around and not a pushover at all last year. Highlands had a few first string guys out for that game as well, notably the QB. I was mainly wondering why both this year and last were at Scott instead of alternating.

As I understand it, the game against Scott is at Highlands.

Corbin was to play a Tennessee team in that event as well? Maybe they will play Highlands now.

Birds added Mighty Moe to their home schedule last night.

  • That is a big time add.

KHSAA lists it at Scott. Maybe it’s a typo.

The KHSAA schedule has been corrected. Brian Weinrich confirmed the Scott game is at Highlands.

The game against Notre Dame in the Cumberland Falls Pigskin Classic is out. Tennessee high schools are not playing varsity games until Sept 18th, per the TSSAA. Highlands is looking for a game now.

Certainly seems like the simplest solution, yeah.

Sign me up for that one, as long as it's in Ft. Thomas.

I'd have to imagine it would be at Corbin. Corbin hosts the Cumberland Falls Pigskin Classic, and both Corbin & Highlands were scheduled to play TN competitors in the bowl at Corbin. I would assume the game would stay at Corbin.

That makes sense.

Also means zero percent chance I attend.

Looks the Tennessee High School Athletic Association is requesting that high school football be considered the same as college and pro football, which means they would be allowed to play as scheduled. So the Tennessee schools may still be playing in the Cumberland Falls Classic. Things, as they say, are fluid at this time.

One thing to keep in mind is if other schools are losing games with Tennessee opponents that same weekend. If it is two local or competitive schools, they might bring them in to give the bowl the normal four team/two game setup.

Definitely. I like seeing that for Highlands.
