Shull is on the transportation issue too.  I guess he wants to talk about all the tree is forest. Thinks transportation will contribute to the spread.

The statistics are not related to people.  They are related to tests, that we do not know the demographics of. 

So far it looks like the state has less than a 1% positive rate from looking at UK and UofL numbers. 

Right, they throw the 10% number around with no context.  They definitely don't want to play.

If you do not have COVID-19 symptoms and have not been in close contact with someone known to have a COVID-19 infection:

- You do not need a test.

The impact of this is that insurance companies may not pay for proactive testing. 

 

Shull is giving his opinion on national data trends for COVID and he is talking about what adding Influenza to that and doesn't want to being practice and games when they are probably going to have to end those practice and games in October because of what national experts predict about trends.  

At this point I feel like Pollio is concerned that Shull is going to vote to shut it all down and he is coaching him up to his position. 

Shull is talking about fairness now, can't wait to hear this.

He said it seems they are privileging high school athletes over younger kids and they are not moving as one district.  I think what he is saying is if little kids can't play high schools shouldn't play because it isn't fair.  It is just another way of shutting it all down from Shull's position. 

Pollio is coaching Shull up again and basically handing him a bag of goods so that Shull votes like he wants.  

Wyman is in step with Pollio, sorta like Batman and Robin. 

Chris Brady is on deck and Brady sent out info to all the board members before the meeting but they probably didn't all review it.

Brady is thanking the staff and their NTI work.  He wants to thank Pollio too.  He also wants to thank the parents and Mr. Wyman. 

Brady works for a healthcare company and he asked an expert he worked with so now I guess he wants Tony's old job.

Brady says the risks go beyond the playing field.  Basically he is saying anyone wanting choice loses out to the unknown factors of a viral spread. 

Brady is talking about transmission rates and that high school kids transmit at the same rate as adults.

Now Brady disagrees with his expert on there not being a difference between high school and college sports.

Make up your mind Chris Brady, is your coworker your expert or not?
