Can someone give me a scouting report on this team? Not a joke - I need some serious information.

I can tell you that their big two "McDavid and Thomas" are as good as it gets in our Region and can match any other "twosome" around. Thomas is a lot stronger than last year and causes big matchup problems because of his quickness, nice 3 point shot, and ball handling. I look for him to be one of our Region's very best by tournament time. Drew McDavid is smart defensively and a workhorse around the basket. Has trouble guarding a "very big" or "very quick" post player, but don't we all. Wilcox is the question mark as he's inconsistent but plays hard all the time. I know Bonner is raw but he's a big banger. Don't know much about their 2 new faces that had the good game against Rock Hill.

Dan Coleman who is a junior, and Tyler Salyers who is a senior.

The two "new faces" your talking about are danny coleman and tyler salyer. I do think Thomas will be one of the best in the 16th region this year. Who in this region is "too big" and/or "too quick" for McDavid to guard? And I think Ryan Bonner will be one of the biggest suprises in the 16th this yr. Once he losses his "football legs" he'll be fine.

This is a very dangerous topic. Last year I said that they were not extremely talented and several people got their underwear in a bunch.

So this year I will simply say that due to the new head coach it is tough to know much about them. I do love Matt Thomas's game.

I'm also interested. The Tomcats visit the Fieldhouse on Tuesday.

I don't know much about this team but I do know that Buddy Biggs is a great coach. Whoever they play is in for a fight.

Pretty much right on the money. But I disagree about McDavid, he can guard basically anyone from the 1 to the 5.

I'll be checking them out in the next game or two and YES I am preparing a scouting report for a team that I think will beat Ashland in a few weeks. Anyone that would like to see Ashland lose - please feel free to send me any inside info that you might have!   :fire:
