December 29, 20196 yr Final. This loss this year knocks the Patriots out of a first round bye. They will have to play next week. The Dolphins upset the Patriots for the 2nd year in a row.
December 29, 20196 yr New England just doesn’t look that good any more. They definitely aren’t the team that they were. I know that I’ve said it more than once, but the loss of Gronkowski was a major hit to their offense. I knew things would be different without him, but they showed some pretty big flaws without him.
December 29, 20196 yr Author I saw a stat all 6 of the Patriots Super Bowl wins they had a bye. The years without they are 3-3 with no Super Bowls.

Which is why unfortunately Tyler Eifert will most likely be a Patriot next year.

December 29, 20196 yr I was amazed Tyler stayed healthy this year and more power to him if he goes to NE. Now that he finally has stayed healthy and has a full off season ahead of him where he doesn’t have to rehab. It would be great for the Bengals to still have him. He actually is still pretty young and would be great to have with Burrow.

First time he has played in all 16 games in his career. To do that the Bengals let him skip practices on Wednesday and Thursday, and practice just on Friday. Would the Patriots do that?
December 30, 20196 yr First time he has played in all 16 games in his career. To do that the Bengals let him skip practices on Wednesday and Thursday, and practice just on Friday. Would the Patriots do that? Probably not but he also probably wouldn’t have too. This will be the first off season in forever where he can actually work on his whole body, and not spend it all rehabbing a specific injury. With the problems the Patriots have had on offense this year and with Eifert probably being cheap to get still. I definitely think they will go for him now that he did make it all season healthy.
