Not a fumble? Ridiculous. Mayfield runner can be held up for 3 solid seconds and get it ripped from him but the Somerset QB dives and clearly loses the ball and hes down? I hate to be this guy but they need replay in the championship games.

I would design the Somerset QB to run instead of making him improvise. He is obviously one of the best athletes on the field.

If I had to play someone I would hope I got to see what Beechwood did to stop them because Beechwood is so well coached.

 

To Mayfield's credit though, they seem to be throwing the ball more effectively in this game so they prepared well for that 3 man rush.

Maybe on the replay but what we really need is the best Refs from KY each year doing these games and it should be based upon merit.
