Do you think they’ll allow parents to get tickets or no tickets at all?

I think parents will get them and maybe more.

St.X on NFHS network now. This is good news, especially if live out of town.

    Good opportunity for both teams!

I wonder if schools (not just  St. X) will raise the price of tickets to help offset the revenue shortfall.

I don’t think they will. Probably only losing on couple of games unless they drastically reduce capacity. Weaker opponents and when get colder weather the attendance drops off to probably half capacity. It will be interesting where they have St.X/ Trinity game since wouldn’t seem financially feasible to have it at Cardinal Stadium with limited fans.

Any more talk on who might replace the St. X Bombers? Also something I’ve always wondered, how much does it cost to rent Cardinal Stadium?

I'd be interested to know that myself.

Speaking of the Bombers, they're playing on ESPN2 at 6pm EST.

Did a quick scan; glad they were able to get some games updated for their freshmen and JV teams. We’ll see what happens in the coming days with the varsity schedule.

Problem is nobody wants to play them which maybe because of covid and travel. If you subtract non competitive teams than the list really shrinks.

Bus rules means will cost more to travel so that is factor also.

I know we haven’t started the 2020 season but I wonder how all this is going to affect future schedules?  Will the out of state travel restrictions be a permanent thing?  Will JCPS go to strictly a “Freshmore” level of play?  Will the KHSAA keep the 60 man squad limitation?  And if the 60 man squad becomes a permanent change would it sway kids to go to smaller private schools in Jeff Co or enroll in public schools?  It would be asking a lot to have a kid workout all year long and not be able to dress on Friday night

A lot of questions to be answered before 2021 gets underway

I don’t think changes will stay unless pandemic sticks around so I expect next year to be normal. A few schools were going Froshmore before pandemic so could see more of that.

If I was an AD I’d schedule an away game this season at Trinity or STX when the crowds will more than likely be limited.  Next year when things hopefully are back to normal have them come to your place where you are assured a good gate.

I saw on a Facebook page that a parent posted that Kenton County has a waiver for parents to sign, so sounds like Simon Kenton going to be able to play.

Simon Kenton updated their schedule with Walton-Verona on Sep 18th.

Looks like Ballard & STX are both open Oct 1 & 2.

You would think this would be an easy fix. But if it happened Ballard would be playing STX & Trinity in back to back games. I don’t think anybody wants to do that.

Right. That would be a tough two weeks.
