That might have been me getting wires crossed. I thought someone told me somewhere along the line that this was a being held at Lex Cath as a re-scheduling of the Bluegrass Bowl. You probably know better than I do.

Yea no its called the Mingua Beef Jerky Bowl held each year at Douglass, plus I just talked to the coach.

Correct. Only having two levels. Froshmore teams becoming more common. DeSales had 19 sophomores against our freshman team last year.

Heard that StX and Simon Kenton may play on Sept 18 if northern Kentucky schools get the ok to play. Also DeSales plays Cooper on the 18th depending on what the NKY school board says. If Cooper & Simon Kenton aren’t allowed to play Louisville schools, look for DeSales to play STX on Sept 18.

Yes, I saw DeSales lose the Lex Cath game, and I wouldn't be surprised if DeSales ended up on the schedule again for St. X.

I was told St. X has had COVID-positive members on the freshman football and cross country teams.

They have good medical staff and I’m sure they have implemented measures to deal with any cases.

KHSAA website shows 9/18 as TBA so looks like one of either Simon Kenton or DeSales as mentioned in above post. I’ll be happy with either one.

Yes. Scrimmage them every year for last several years.

I saw on a Facebook page that a parent posted that Kenton County has a waiver for parents to sign, so sounds like Simon Kenton going to be able to play.
