North Hardin 38 McCracken County 2

Featured Replies

North Hardin behind dominating defense rolls into Semifinals.

McCracken’s Quarterback was out. Their leading rusher with over 1600 yards also had been out since the last game of the regular season.

R1 sport fan, it wouldn't have mattered if McCracken County was full strength. North Hardin was too much tonight.

Not having Wheat at QB was huge for McCracken. I agree R1. Not to mention Bradley.

Hardin county preps, it would’ve helped and at least made it a game, and in a close game who know.

I don't know any football team that loses their starting QB and starting RB who are leaders on a team that does not take a significant setback. Tip your hat to North who is a fine team, but also realize if both teams are at full strength the game would be different. I didn't say the outcome would be different (I'm honestly not sure), but the game would undoubtedly be different.

Great season Mustangs!

Good Luck North!

NH's Jordan Lovett now has 15 INTs on the season? Wow, that's impressive. Will be interesting to see him against Trinity's passing attack.

I have to disagree, a large part of the game was McCracken’s defense getting worn out in the forth quarter. With both of Bradley and Wheat playing their defense likely wouldn’t have been out there as long. North may has still won but it definitely would’ve been a close game.

Yes R1, it would change the dynamics of the game. McCracken is a stout Offensive machine, but when the QB is out, who is phenomenal and add to it the star RB, they had no chance. McCracken beat Mayfield, but lost to BG without Bradley in the backfield. If McCracken played a top team like Mayfield with out their QB and star RB it would have been running clock the other way. Most on here haven't seen Wheat or Bradley play, but they seem to know exactly how it would have went down. I don't know if they would have beaten NH, they are a great team, but the dynamics would have changed and NH would have felt alot more pressure.

With the starting QB and RB in for McCracken, North Hardin still wins by 3 TDs.

False. NH still likely wins, but with one of the best RBs in the state out, your starting QB out, which also renders the the best WR in the state ineffective, it basically takes away your entire offense.
