November 10, 20196 yr :lol2: Smh. You thinking Texas isn't any good tells me all I need to know. Indiana is a product of their schedule. Texas has played 4 top 25 teams with 2 wins and 2 losses to top 10 teams by a combined 14 points. Who has Indiana played to prove they are on the same level as Texas. I'll save you the time. NOBODY. Take the names off the front of the jersey Walter. Have you even watched Indiana? Indiana with Michael Penix at QB is on the same level with Texas. Texas strength of schedule #22 in the nation. Indiana strength of schedule #227.
November 10, 20196 yr Take the names off the front of the jersey Walter. Have you even watched Indiana? Indiana with Michael Penix at QB is on the same level with Texas. I have watched Indiana. Against OSU and also watched some of their game against Northwestern on FS1 last weekend. I'm not down on Indiana. It's just hard for me to say they are on the same level as Texas when the fact is they haven't beat a team with a winning record yet.
November 10, 20196 yr Texas strength of schedule #22 in the nation. Indiana strength of schedule #227. Ok but does strength of schedule matter when you don’t win the big games anyways? Texas lost their biggest games. Indiana lost their biggest games. SOS only matters when talking about who you beat and Texas hasn’t beat anyone.

It's just hard for me to say they are on the same level as Texas when the fact is they haven't beat a team with a winning record yet. They didn’t have Penix against OSU (not that it would have made a difference.) I’m just not going to sit here and let people hype up Texas as a big notch in LSUs belt. LSU just beat Bama. That’s the only notch they need. Just tired of hearing the fake arguments that Ohio State hasn’t played anyone and then given an answer like Texas as someone LSU has beaten. Texas is just an average football team and would be an average football team in any conference the same as Indiana. Just calling a spade a spade.

Fell to #26 for 2 weeks then returned to the top 25 this week after beating #16 K-State. They are far from "just an average football team." You might not think it's a good win for LSU but those who actually matter do, so that's good enough for me.

I’m confused, but don’t the committee rankings come out Tuesday? How do you already know what they think of Texas this week?
November 10, 20196 yr I’d even say his Irish are comparable to Florida and Auburn. All the 2 loss teams are pretty comparable to each other. Not a chance. My Irish were way overrated, and it's the same reason I alluded to earlier.
November 10, 20196 yr So being ranked 13th isn’t comparable to being ranked 10th or 11th? Ok. You don't seem to be grasping that I'm telling you the rankings are a joke. The system is a joke. The BCS is a joke. It's what we have, so we have to deal with it.
November 10, 20196 yr Not a chance. My Irish were way overrated, and it's the same reason I alluded to earlier. And Florida and Auburn aren’t overrated despite not performing any better than your Irish? You’re so biased towards the SEC that you even devalue your own team. Your Irish put up a way better fight against Georgia on the road than Florida did when half the stands were wearing blue and orange. Is this what it’s come to? I’m on defending the Irish because even the resident ND fans have been indoctrinated? Yikes.

You even want to defend a team you don't like just for the sake of a pointless argument. My Irish would have lost to both Florida and Auburn this year. Maybe you haven't watched the three teams play. BTW, the difference between the Georgia/Notre Dame game and the Georgia/Florida game was one point. How is one point way better? Until my Irish win these kind of games, they don't deserve the rankings they get early on. That's the difference between me and some Buckeye fans, I expect the Irish to EARN it. They haven't. November 11, 20196 yr The BCS hasn’t been a thing for 6 years RTS. Sorry, should have typed CFP. Old habits are hard to break. The CFP is a joke and a fraud.
November 11, 20196 yr LSU to #1. Alabama drops to #4. As to playoff discussion, for me it is still too early with too many variables to spend much time speculating.
