Who wins this district championship matchup? Manual did the unthinkable this season and knocked of Saint Xavier in the regular season 20-19, for the first win over them in many many moons. Does Manual start a winning streak over Saint Xavier? Or Does Saint Xavier get revenge when the game matters the most?

For St.X to win they have to not turn ball over. Turnover cost them win in first game. Had 4 turnovers against Butler. I think if they don’t turn ball over they win a close one. If turn ball over than Manual wins.

I agree with @Tigerpride94. Don’t turn it over and St. X should win a close, physical game.

It’s not every season a team gets the opportunity to play potentially three teams that beat them in the regular season; revenge game #1 is with a district rival.

 

Reading the write up on Catholic Sports Report, it seems the offense was able to move the ball but turnovers kept the game much closer. Hopefully there’s a good turnout of fans because this is where the playoffs start getting exciting!

Manuals confidence is likely through the roof right now. They get another playoff home game, and they know they can beat St. X! I like the Crimsons in this one. I think the score will be close, but also higher than the first meeting.

The Northington kid for Manual is really playing well. If I'm St. X I give him a little extra attention.

Manual is playing with a lot of confidence, but if you’re St. X you still should be confident heading into this game because their defense held Manual’s top offensive player to 52 yards on 15 carries. It will come down to can St. X get TDs instead of field goals, if they can do that they should be in good shape.

I’m pulling for Manual because they deserve it.
