Bluesport
Final. Interesting score for CovCath fans-since CovCath throttled LaSalle, the Lancers have beat both St. X and Elder. They are definitely the kings of the GCL in Cincinnati this year.

CCHDynasty
I don't mean to gloat but CovCath did not beat an "average La Salle team". That notion should have ended after they beat St. Xavier. Edited November 2, 2019 by CCHDynasty
shoella
No, no, no. Elder and ST. X are also overrated.

KY Outsider
It is all about matchups, most of the time the GCL schools are very evenly matched. The game last night came down to the very end. I would love to see CovCath play a GCL schedule but know that really isn’t possible.
Brcatz
Winton Woods beats LaSalle, but Little Miami gets into playoffs over Winton Woods by beating Simon Kenton. Wow... Bad luck for WW. Winton Woods is a top 5 team in Cincy. Crazy.

colonel-fan
Did Bernie Sanders come up with Ohio’s playoffs formula? A way to solve that would be for Ohio to go to a 9 game regular season and add a round of playoffs. However, that would allow teams with a losing record into the playoffs. And that would trigger quite a few people. I would rather have some teams with a losing record in if it means all deserving teams make the playoffs. Oldercoach
Moral of the story is don't put your Ohio DII Region 8 playoffs hopes in the hands of the Pioneer defense... Now are you saying allowing 494 passing yards isn't good defense?
