Ohio State 38 Wisconsin 7

So you watch SEC games then check box scores and come to the conclusion that the Big 10 is overrated. That’s what I’m inferring from this discussion.

I think Penn State could give any SEC team not named Bama trouble. The B10 and the SEC are always top heavy and it drops off quickly.

Didn't Penn State play a SEC team already this year? How did that go?

Nope... UC had a bye so I watched all of the Ohio St game today. Have watched Michigan multiple times. Same with Wisconsin, Penn State, Iowa, and Michigan State.

Ohio State is for real. The rest of the big 10? Yes I think they are overrated (Still torn on Penn State, FWIW).

You really think Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, and Minnesota are in the same class as LSU, Auburn, Florida, and Georgia?

Minnesota is undefeated because they have literally played nobody.

Iowa has a decent win over Iowa St but beat Miami (OH) by basically the same score that UC beat them.

Michigan struggled to beat a 3-5 Army team and should have lost. They have an opportunity to prove me wrong tonight that they aren't overrated, but I'm not expecting it to happen.

Wisconsin lost to an Illinois team that struggled to beat a terrible UCONN team and also lost to Eastern Michigan.

Penn State has taken care of business but played nobody out of conference so tough to really know how good they are. I'd say they are the most legit of the bunch but I don't think they are the 6th best team in the country.

I'm not saying these are bad teams... I'm saying I don't think they're as good as their ranking says they are.

Go watch something other than B10 then get back to me. Both teams in this Auburn-LSU game beat anyone in the Big 10, not named OSU by 10+.

Ohio State is for real, no doubt, but Big 10 is overrated...so there's that.

Bama, LSU, Clemson, Auburn, and yes, even Oklahoma, would all score on and give that OSU defense problems. Way more athletes for those teams than what OSU will see in the B10.

I agree OSU is probably #2 when all is said and done, but you're crazy if you think the above mentioned teams aren't on the same level as OSU.

The SEC is overrated. How Kentucky played against Florida and Georgia is proof of that.

Nope, not this football season.

Just two weeks ago you all were talking up Wisconsin as a for real team this year. I think we will see Penn State is similar to Wisconsin and have benefitted from not really playing anyone yet. They are a top 25 team, but at this moment at least I don't think they are top 10 good.

A few weeks ago everyone thought Wisky for real. And a few weeks ago you said Fromm was better than Fields, it’s not even a discussion anymore, not even for all you SEC homers.

Are we really having this conversation considering a bad Illinois just beat what many consider the 2nd or 3rd best team in your conference?

Florida and Georgia atleast avoided upsets and pulled away to win, despite playing bad.

And I'm a UC guy so have no dog in this fight. Just calling it as I see it and the Big 10 teams not named OSU aren't as good as their ranking suggests.

Nope, but if they did Penn State is 8-0.

I said year, not season...:)

I don’t see any difference between Ohio State and Penn State and LSU and Alabama. I do believe Wisconsin, Michigan, and even Minnesota are on the same level with Florida, Georgia, and Auburn. But like JA said it’s extremely top heavy. The top 2 teams in both conferences simply have more talent and are better teams than the teams below them. You don’t have to tell me to watch more than just the Big 10. Saturday’s from 12 pm to whenever Pac 12 after dark is finished, I’m tuned in.

You know Georgia lost to South Carolina right? The same South Carolina getting boat raced by Tennessee who lost to Georgia Southern? You said you watched a lot of football.

Raise your hand if you had OSU’s stud backup freshman RB, Master Teague, out-rushing Jonathan Taylor?

Well aware of the results... Doesn't change my opinion that the big 10 teams aren't nearly as good as their rankings suggest.

Crazy how quick some of you Big 10 homers forget how much your conference has been dominated by the SEC in bowl games that actually mean something.
