I expected a blow out for Glasgow.

I think the weather really hurt the passing game which is one of Glasgow’s strengths from looking at a lot of the scores it seems like a lot of games were closer than expected.

Casey threw for over 200 yards. I think Casey holding the ball for about 75% of the first half hurt Glasgow more than the weather.

Well maybe but Mitchell was out for Glasgow too so I’m sure that didn’t help but Glasgow made some adjustments and ran off the last 21 points in the half and pretty much dominated Casey Co with their defense from about midway through the second quarter on so all I will say is a win is a win is a win.

Casey’s best athlete tore his ACL in their 2nd scrimmage. Stuff happens to everyone. Game went down to the final minute. Good win for Glasgow. Casey did a terrific job with what they had to do to compete.

So their best running back since 2015? Mitchell shared carries back in 2017... so you’re basically saying you haven’t had a back like him in two years. Trigg was a division one prospect. Mitchell is not. That is beside the point though. You can’t say you we’re dominant in any phase if you’re only winning 21-14, with a onside kick return at that.

 

Glasgow is a fine team. But if they play like this they will be done in round two. Good luck.
