October 12, 20196 yr No plausible scenario they get in. This loss was 100x worse than OSU at Purdue. I think you agree, if they get in it’s rigged. I agree they should not get in. The one advantage they'd possibly have over that OSU team is they could beat a #1 or #2 ranked team in the SEC title game. OSU didn't have a highly enough ranked opponent left to give them a boost after losing to Purdue.
October 13, 20196 yr @futurecoach Does this affect Fromm’s draft stock? I dont think so. Even in this game you seen him make those high level NFL throws. Specifically the deep outs. The only thing that may effect his draft stock is there is a lot of other qbs playing at a high level this year too now. Jalen Hurts is a qb that all of a sudden could be playing himself to a 1st rounder too. Which a lot of teams have their young qbs now and it should be a great qb class coming out. So imo we will see a few really good qbs slip further than they would in most years. It will come down to which certain like specific qbs.

Difference is Georgia lost like most top teams do if they have an off day and lose to a team they shouldn't. OSU got curb stomped by a bad team two years in a row. Which is the exact thing I said the last few years after those OSU losses. OSU probably could have got over the hill still if they had simply just lost close games to those same teams they lost to. What killed them is they got curb stomped by bad teams, which is not what happened to Georgia. So no where near as worst of a lost as those OSU curb stomped losses.

October 13, 20196 yr Hurts was never on the draft board. But yes the only QBs in this draft worth taking where the bengals are drafting are Tua and Herbert. So basically Tua? I am not big on Herbert. I honestly still prefer Fromm and even Jalen Hurt over him.

Are you still high on him or are you starting to question him? I know @GrantNKY and I have always felt he’s the Alex Smith of college football. I'm still very high on him. He plays in a NFL style offense. You see him make NFL type tight window throws. You have to be able to also make those deep out throws to the sidelines which he does well. Seems to be a good leader and plays with a good energy. I think his game is one of those qbs who's game translates really well to the NFL and one that numbers actually get better in the NFL. While there may be some who put up video game type college numbers now, but once in the NFL may not translate. Take OSU for example. Especially if Haskins doesn't plan out in the NFL. People really would need to look into it most likely being the system rather than the qb. JT Barrett great college numbers, and set records at OSU but not an NFL QB. Cardale Jones didn't even need to play even to still put up video game type numbers in the biggest games. Yet has shown he is not a NFL qb. Haskins in his one year tore it up in the college game. OSU system almost every qb who has played there since Urban got there has put up computer game number stats.

If perfectly thrown ball goes through his receivers hands to get picked also happens to him. Then it could happen. Either way he would not be having the same success and computer like numbers if he stayed at Georgia.
