Johnson Central 49 Simon Kenton 11

JC finished with season high 500 plus yards of total offense to include three 100 yard rushers led by Devin Johnson. JC had a fourth back run for 70 yards. Unofficial.

SK played very fast with a no huddle offense similar to Oregon under Chip Kelly. Their young QB is very good and will only improve. Excellent sportsmanship shown by both sides. SK ran for around 150 yards and threw for about 100 or so, it was their defense that struggled with JCs power game.

Impressive win for the Golden Eagles as they move into district play.

Didn't want to believe the projections, big win JC. Is this a home and home.

Was this a running clock?

Running clock around mid 4Q. JC scored TD's on 7 of 8 possessions in the game.

As a program, SK should be beyond these kinds of performances. Frosh teams always have between 30 - 40 kids every year, but the Pioneers can't seem to get over the hump.

11 has got to be the oddest score in football.

Really strong showing from JC. This was a perennially solid/good big school program that they straight up whipped. They ran for 450 yards with Dillon Preston barely contributing to the running game. The depth of quality ball carriers for the Golden Eagles is really impressive.

Watched a video of JC dance team from half time, got a look at the visitor’s bleachers, I hope at least 50 SK fans had departed the stands for concessions. I KNOW that it’s a long trip but looked to be a poor turnout from NKY.

I have family in the area, so I understand the trials of the trip.
