I'm assuming that meant not "making out of district games into the playoffs". With 5 teams in their district, I believe that means that team with the worst district record does not make the playoffs. I would have to think Cooper is going to beat Boone County, and Boone will be the one that fails to make the playoffs.

 

Kinda figured that’s what [MENTION=1230019162]Sports4ever25MENTION]was eluding to. Funny how some seem to think Cooper won’t beat Boone AND Conner and finish at a minimum 3rd in the conference. While Cooper hasn’t had a super strong schedule I will say it’s better than Conner’s and when I look at common opponents (I.e. Ryle) Conner was blown out by 24 and Boone was blown out by 46. Cooper lost by 4 to Ryle and shut them out in the 2nd half.

 

While tonight’s game may get ugly as the Jags will be severely out-manned, i would say it’s way too early to start predicting what team won’t make it “out the the district”.

With the exception of Jeremiah Lee's involvement in throwing the pass that scored Cooper's lone touchdown last year, no one on Cooper's current football team has ever scored on Covington Catholic.

Yep, I mean varsity. But you make a good point...I just got to thinking about that in light of the fact that the Cooper/Cov Cath series is such a new one, but you probably are right about the majority of the other teams on Cov Cath's recent schedules being in the same boat.
