KY Post Team

Some surprises. Kudos to Ryle's Scottie Gray who made the 1st or 2nd team both ways. 1st team D-back and 2nd team RB. Shocked to see Vince Murray only make the 2nd Team as a LB. Thought he may have made it over Domaschko, although Rob is a nice player too.

Happy to see Pete Kayiatos make 1st Team -- was very impressed with him when I saw him this year.

CovCath placed 6 kids on the 1st team, and add Nick Hudepohl on the 2nd team. (somehow, no Brandon Brown)

How is Brandon Brown not on this he is one of the best corners in the state, and this is just the NKY team. WOW You never hear his name on defense because he never gets beat, he is always on his assignment

I would like to know when the coaches voted? I would guess before the playoffs started, but am not sure

What an accomplishment. Congratulations to all the players.

Congrats to Elbert from SK.

Vince was 1st team as a JR and second team as a SR. Rob D over Vince M at 1st team says it all to me - JOKE!!!

Congrats to Ryan Kelly from Scott! It's hard to get recognized when your team is not doing so well. I'm glad somebody was watching!!!

They must have voted before the playoffs.IMO, There is no way Murray is not first team running back and most likely linebacker too!

Congrats to Scottie though!

Congrats to Big Ben Schlosser of HHS for being an All-NKy pick! May Hunter follow the path trail you blazed!!

Congrats also to Alex Hempfling of HHS for for being an All-NKy selection as a Junior. Maybe next year you can bring the "Bus" with you! Hard work pays off...KEEP WORKIN"!!

...and congrats to all of the Nky selections, those who were listed AND those who SHOULD have been listed. It was a great season!

Congrats to kyle southwood of Newport.. A very underrated lineman who deserves the credit.

We wish Ben was a "Big Ben". Unfortunately Ben's father married into a "short" gene pool:flame:. Maybe Ben's younger brother, Hunter, can come up with some height somehow. If he wants to follow Ben's path, he better plan on a lot of committment and really, really hard work the next two years.

I don't believe the coaches vote on this team. The Ky Post reporters pick the team.

Unfortunately Ben's father married into a "short" gene pool

Ya think?
