Surprised they didn't stick it out with him a little longer, but he wasn't doing anything special... Any other K who has played like Mike this year probably would've been released a little sooner.

Maybe so. But everyone has their issues and teams still take chances. Yeah I don't think he has much confidence in his self anymore because of that blown kick last year.

Hard to believe it took this long, Parcells wanted to cut him during training camp and he hadn't attempted a kick yet.

Well said and kickers, can't often afford slumps or other issues.
