    Barren County.  Very nice facility!

  • Who has the best midfield logos? Fern Creek uses the Tiger Eye (LSU). While it isn’t original it is hand painted with an aerosol wand no template. Former Defensive Coordinator Don Hillerich retire

Love the Danville logo for originality and the CovCath logo is super sharp.

Belfry is trying to raise money to replace their turf, I am hoping they do the new field justice with a nice Skull and Cross Bones at Midfield.

As for Bryan Station, yeah that is a little much.

I dig the "B" in Bardstown in the endzone. I think a lot of places ignore the opportunity to do much of anything with the team lettering in the endzones.

I had no idea Bardstown had turf until seeing some soccer tweets the other day. Is this the first year? It looks terrific.

Notice that their field is really unique in that it was built to not allow soccer games on it. They play on still the old grass field over from this. At least they did back several years ago when I drove the bus for East Carter and we had to go their for a couple of playoff games. If you notice it is not even marked for soccer.

...and a more complete view of Holmes.

Just looked through the whole list. Holmes is my favorite.

This is true. In speaking with some of our soccer players, most of them prefer playing on grass to turf. They say the ball handles easier. In fact, FIFA (world soccer federation) is very much anti-turf, although they do allow it in a few places. So while it might seem odd that Belfry isn't marked for soccer, it might be that all parties prefer it that way.
