Reds with their first hit in the top of the 5th and two outs. Figures they finally have a couple runners on base and Gray is up.

Dietrich gets his for the 21st time this season. Reds record is 26 by Choo.

Dietrich is removed to get xrays on his knee. Hopefully all the HBPs didn't catch up to him.

Welp, the base running woes continue.

Senzel hits a double, moved over by Votto and then gets thrown out at home on a grounder to third.

Gray is pretty much dealing today, minus the two solo shots. Just can't get any run support.

Reds have two on base, first and second, and Igelsais gets picked off first by the catcher. Runner in front of him with no where to run and gets picked with a pinch hitter up. Reds have to be the worst fundamental team in baseball.

Can we not put Hernandez on the DL and bring up Cody Reed. He has single handily along with Iglesias cost the Reds around 10 games this year.

Is Reed back from injury?

I thought Reed was injured too.

I think Jim Day said Votto was like 3-24 on this road trip after the All Star break.

Got a little rally going now. Senzel and Puig both knock in a run.

Another double play ends that.

Reds lose 5-2. They are now 7 games under .500 at 43-50. They come home for a short 4 game home stand with the Cardinals.

He’d better be hurt since he’s not up, he’s pitched his behind off this year when given the chance!!
