Sometimes these threads are extremely predictable and it's a wonder I am ever surprised.

This posts here right after my post about Reds not scoring. Plus you and others jump every posts that I post.

These are the type games that show the Reds has no chance to contend.

If I wanted to "jump on your every post" I would have quoted you like I did here. It was a general statement about the predictability of this thread and how it doesn't surprise me.

Reds score three in the first and then not another run. Not very good.

I’d argue that they are “contending” anytime you stay without 5 games you’re within striking distance if you get hot, but I also understand your point. The fan in me hates it, but games like yesterday are beginning to add up in that L column.

You can’t score 3 in the first, have an opposing pitcher struggle like yesterday, and even have the meat of your order come through twice in crunch time and lose 4-3.

They’re a lot more competitive and fun this year, but not there just yet, which is fine. They weren’t supposed to be, but as a fan I’ll hang on and hope as long as I can.

Lorenzen is such a weapon as a relief pitcher. Pinch runs in the of the 9th and promptly steals 2nd. Stud.

Lorenzen is one of the most unique baseball players ever. Quality relief pitcher. Defensive replacement as an outfielder. Pinch hits. Fast enough to steal bases as a pinch runner. I can't think of another player like him in MLB in my lifetime.

He's one of my favorites on this team.

Poor Farmer took a couple of shots in the 9th. I thought the second one knocked him out there for a second.

I still can’t believe he didn’t come out last night.

I didn't see how it happened but the Cubs took an early lead in the first inning and are up 1-0.

Bomb by Bryant.

Well, Gray just gave up another solo shot. This one to Addison Russell. 2-0.

Reds striking out like crazy against Yu Darvish.

They’re just trying to break the stigma of only scoring early lol.
