No. Not that I did not believe you personally. Example: When guys are throwing 40 times out that are world class and they say that all thier backs have 4.31, 4.32, and 4.33 times it makes it hard to determine fact from fiction. Jaggers has a lot to loose if he does not tell the facts. Anyone can get on here and say anything they want.

 

Oh by the way Clark, Wells, Jones, and Beekman have 40 times under 4.3. See what I'm saying. I don't have to back it up. The truth is I don't think any of the Russell players can run a 4.4 40. I think Frazier is the fastest of the Devils but I don't know.

They will be the most physical team we will have seen all year. If the field conditions arent the greatest friday then I believe that it will be play right into Russell's favor. It's going to be a battle no matter what the weather conditions will be. I'm looking forward to a great game.

Devils should be leaving about 9:00am. The parade will start at the high school and go past the middle school, the elementary and the intermediate school before heading up Red Devil lane towards the 'ville.

 

I would also like to congratulate the seniors on both teams for a wonderful year and what a way to go out. The state game it doesn't get any better.

 

I know my son finished his football career at the state game last year. This one has a little less meaning to me but I will be there to support my Devils.

If Russell plays defense with the desire and tenacity that they showed last week they can play with anybody. The offense needs to come out and follow suit. Some big plays early will send the signal that the Red Devils want to become two time defending AA champs. Good Luck against a very good Mercer Co team.

 

Buses will be leaving around 9:00 am on Thursday. Same route as last year for those that want to show their support along the way. A stop over in Lexington to practice on the turf and on to the Executive Inn.

Just a correction. Hal Morris of the Advocate-Messenger said Josh Wills led Russell with 87 tackles. Actually it is 105
