I don't think the wind will effect the Russell passing game. They usually throw it up and let the reciever run under it. I don't see a problem. I'm really looking forward to this one.

 

I think the Mercer Titans will represent the folks of Mercer County well. I wish all the players and coaches from Mercer the best of luck. You guys have put together one heck of a football team that you should be very proud of. We at Russell do really understand the situation you are in. It has nothing to do with the players and coaches.

 

I still say you won't be able to handle the pounding you are going to get from a very physical Russell team. You might and if you do? You win.

I just voted Russell because of the Wing-T. There are many things that Coach McGlone and staff have learned over the past 30 years running the offense that makes me think the Red Devils will score more than 19 points. Plus has Mercer County seen the Wing-T this year?

 

Second, why is Mercer County still listed at KHSAA website as being in Region 3? I will not beat a dead horse here, but surely the KHSAA could have corrected that?
