I wish I had a dollar for every track and field championship that comes down to the 4X400.

Is this Beechwood's first ever track championships? Outstanding, especially for a home track with corners.

Congrats to Somerset's girls 2nd place, highest finish in school history.

One heartbreaking DNF from the title.

WhyOhWhy must it always pour down rain on this weekend?

Raegan Franklin of North Oldham set the new 2A pole vault record at 12-03.

Screwed up and posted this in the wrong thread. Sorry for the mess. Anyway, this girl was impressive. I think she had attempts left but it wasn’t restarted after the first rain delay.

Second straight year that Boyle County's boys have run away (pun intended) with the 2A title.

AAA Boys State Track Meet Results:

1. St. Xavier 78

2. Scott County 69

3. Fern Creek 43

4. Henry Clay 40

5. Frederick Douglass 38

Was controversy on last event, the 4X400 relay, Scott County coached filed a complaint that a St.X runner ran into a Scott County runner. Unlike the KY Derby, there is no video review, and KHSAA did not change the result. Had St.X been DQ’d Scott County would have been champs.
