Reds at Brewers (5/21 - 5/22)

Cody Reed needs to be brought up for the Cubs series. Peralta should be relegated to mop up duty, if anything.

Quite possibly the ugliest inning-ending double play you'll ever see right there, folks.

And yet another little league base running play by the Reds. Casali takes off to second with the base occupied. Taught to never run if the runner in front does not run. Reds needs to burn this game film.

On a side note, Ervin can not make contact with a fast ball right down the middle.

Votto finally hits a ball hard for a single.

Did the runner on 2nd ahead of Casali run on that play?

No, the runner on third and second only ran a step or two and stopped. Casali just took off because he assumed they were running.

Well, let's see how they rebound from this one. I thought they'd fold like a house of cards after the one Giants loss, but they didn't. Hopefully the same happens here.

@nkypete you up for the Cubbies?

Really wish they would have won last night, but they are sitting at .500 through a brutal stretch against the Cubs, Dodgers, and Brewers. Hopefully @nkypete can get us above .500 with a series win this weekend.

Why does Votto take these half swings on his warm up swings?

I have no idea why he does, but he has always done that for his whole career. Which it has seemed to work just fine for him his whole career. Now it is just funny how people are trying to question everything now, including his warm up swings lol.

Thom said that baseball people are asking them why he is doing that.
