May 22, 20197 yr Zach Duke put on the 10 day IL. Bell said with the 2 days off this week, that the pitching staff was pretty solid and he'd rather have the extra bat. We'll see how long it lasts. Wouldn't be surprised if Cody Reed is back up by the weekend. @LRCW

May 22, 20197 yr Nice to see VanMeter knock a double early! Wonder how much of Castillo's struggles in the 2nd was tied to being spotted the 5 run lead. The Cowboy regularly talks about pitching after the big inning/big lead is one of the easier situations to get roughed up in.

May 22, 20197 yr Votto gets pulled from the base on a high throw from Lorenzen. Was weird to see him with his left foot on the bag, though. Figured he'd be able to stretch further with the right foot on it. (At least that's the way I was always taught.)
