Why does She-Ray Thomas ever play?

Featured Replies

First off, his name is Sheray. I'll leave the rest of this post alone because obviously your not a fan or you wouldnt try to bellitle the players. However, I've got $20 that says you wouldn't call him She Ray to his face. :fight:

That will match his career pro earnings after his college career.

Wouldn't say horrible, but if he cant play at UNC or DUKE why is he at UK?

Because UK is no longer Duke or UNC. Perry couldn't have played at UK 12 years ago but now not only can he play he can start.

You are right on Sportz Addict, why on earth do we have a player that could not cut it Carolina but Tubby deems good enough to play at Kentucky. Sheray Thomas might not only have trouble playing at Georgetown but cracking the starting lineup for Billy Hicks at Scott county.

IF Bobby Perry can't get a scholly in NC then UK should have never offered. I mean he has turned out to be a decent role player, but I agree that we should recruit better players than the three mentioned. Thomas had that illness and either never fully recovered, or never was any good. He plays though because he plays defense and I would imagine he is good in practice.

You say this, but then you say Lofton is good in the other post, and Lofton is very good. But I mean if UK and UL didn't get him, then from what you are saying Tennessee should have never have got him because he must not be that good if he got away from the state of KY...

Your alls thinking is really funny here, because I guess since Lofton couldn't play at UK, or UL then he had no business going to an SEC school in Tennessee.

Basing it on that a player got away from a state with good schools in it, must mean he is not that good is wrong. Another example is Jason Parker he WAS a very good player that we got from that state, and until he had his problems and tearing up his knee he was going to be really good...

Chris Lofton was missed. Perry wasn't missed he just isn't any good.

And Parker came to KY because something(test scores maybe) kept him from staying in NC if I rememebr correctly. Perry is not Parker he isn't good enough to go to those schools and never should have been given a scholly at KY.

Who else is going to play right now? Stevenson struggled holding onto the ball the other night and was a non factor on offense. Woo is well....Woo. Sheray set screens and didnt turn the ball over. BP wasnt playing well and is really a natural 3. What direction was there to go? We can't go back and change this senior class, so there is really no choice.

Slightly related. Can Ramon Harris play the 4 spot?

I would play any other eligable body over Thomas.

He has ZERO chance of making a play. I actually feel sorry for him. Its pathetic.

Thomas is an absolute zero.

Thomas has it in 4 wheel drive when he gets the ball.

BTW, does anybody on the Kentucky team have any ability to get airborne? Don't tell me Crawdaddy, because he's 6'4" and I expect a Happy Meal all American to be able to get up....but does anybody? Everyone is in mud. No explosion.

I hear Meeks and Jasper both have hops.

Cant wait for SHE-RA MISTRESS OF THE GREAT WHITE NORTH to return to Canda. She has no bussiness at UK/as for BP he could be a good role player,5 or 6 min tops.let the freshman play

I support Sheray Thomas and Bobby Perry to the fullest and I think they will play well this season and help to get this program back to where it needs to be. I am tired of the bashing of this kid, how about we support him instead of finding every possible thing he does wrong. Jeez...

Kentucky, IMO will be a better team in the long haul than last year. However, they are very thin and are quite possibly the worst passing team on the planet. They absolutely throw the basketball all over creation.
