Awesome win!!! I just disappointed that they wont let the students tear down the goal post themselves...

Either way though this is a great win for the UC program, and they should enjoy this!!!:thumb:

Well, they say it every year, but the BCS really usually clears itself up before the end. Boise State is the only other undefeated left, but near as legit a claim as Rutgers would've had.

Now, what does this mean for the Big East championship? If West Virginia beats Rutgers, does it go to head to head between UL and WVU?

2 called from the UL game and said Go Bearcats!!! :D

Never mind, found it myself:

TWO-WAY TIE

The winner of the head to head match-up will represent the BIG EAST in the

Bowl Championship Series

A three way tie would have meant the highest ranked team would have been the representative: translation WVU if they had beaten Rutgers. The Mountaineers are probably quite unhappy tonight. They now need a UL loss and to beat Rutgers to make it. Louisville meanwhile needs to win out and have WVU beat Rutgers. Nothing changes for the Scarlet Knights, who only need to beat WVU to get in.

Program changing W for Coach D and the Cats. The D was amazing tonight, and Davilla put a different life into the O. I'm sure we'll hear plenty of spin about Rutgers as overrated because of this game, but as I've been saying for a while, this was a good match up for UC. Awesome to see them pull it off...

Great win for the Cincy program. They flat out played Rutgers in every aspect of the game. As everyone has said before, the Bearcat "D" is for real. Cincy still didn't get a very good turnout/home crowd, the commentators even mentioned it. Around 27,000 I think. Imo besides the Cincy coaches, team and fans the BCS folks are the happiest about this win for the Bearcats.:D

Anything for a twin brother in need... ;)

Just a quick stat. UC sits at 6-5 with games @OSU, @Va Tech, @ UL, @ WVU, Pitt and Rutgers. They were only 1-5, but they played right with every one of them, and did so (for the most part) with national coverage. If this team starts to own Cincinnati recruiting, watch out...

Congrats to the Bearcats.

Did Grutza get hurt or was he just ineffective?

Hurt last week at WVU...

Thanks guys.
