MJAlltheWay24 Posted January 23, 2019 Author Posted January 23, 2019 Pretty solid performance by the Cats. First time Miss St was held under. Nice games offensively for PJ and Herro. Hagans with a new career high in assists (9). Would like to cut down a little on the turnovers.
FSfan Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Terrible shooting by the Bulldogs but we’ll take it. 21 point win over a ranked team is impressive.
Randy Parker Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Pretty good start and pretty good finish. Not bad beating a ranked team by 21.
gold sunrise Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 I will take this 21 point win over a ranked team. Anyone know who leads with the most assists in a game for UK. I would say 9 ranked high for Hagans.
sumoroyal Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Big one on Sat vs Kansas. This was a bigger game than Kansas.
Irish Cat Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 I feel bad for Aric Holman. I was hoping that he would play well in front of his home state for the last time. He is a much better player than he showed tonight.
Irish Cat Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Seems like the big knock on this UK game here recently was their ability to guard the 3 point shot. Over the last 4 games their opponents are only shooting 26.3%. That seems pretty good to me.
Irish Cat Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 When ESPN showed the matchups for the SEC / Big 10 challenge, I noticed that their were 6 SEC teams ranked in the AP top 25. That has to be a record doesn't it. I wonder if some of the voters are confused and still think it is football season.
oldrambler Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 Another very good win. MSU was obviously wanting to slow the pace of the game and U.K,'s pressure D in the half court wouldn't let them / rushed them and forced MSU to play our / U.K.'s game. This team is gaining confidence with every game. A good thing is that they will continue to improve. I really like how things are going.

But what stinks in this challenge is that 2 of the ranked SEC teams aren’t in it. Miss State n Auburn play each other so 2 of the best of the SEC are not participating.
MJAlltheWay24 Posted January 23, 2019 Author Posted January 23, 2019 This was a bigger game than Kansas. I'm sure you'll make some sort of argument about how its a bigger game because its an SEC matchup, but I'll disagree with you. 2 Top Ten blue blood programs facing off towards the end of January. This game is huge in regards to seeing where your team stands against another strong tournament team. Ratings will be way bigger for this game as well.
