Watching SNF last night, it was mentioned that there could be a "mutual parting/retirement" for Mike Zimmer in Minnesota as well.

That rumor came out of Chicago some how, and does not appear to be accurate according to the Tampa Bay Times. Radio stations down here are saying Bruce Arians, Kris Richards, and Eric Bieniemy. Not that they necessarily know.

Packers - Hired Titans OC Matt LaFleur Browns - still conducting interviews; betting favorite is OC Freddie Kitchens Broncos - Elway reportedly deciding between Vic Fangio (Bears DC) & Mike Munchak (Steelers OL Coach) Cardinals - Still interviewing candidates. Kliff Kingsbury thought to be a potential favorite. Jets - Still doing interviews. Bucs - Reportedly closing in on Bruce Arians as their next HC Dolphins - Still doing interviews. Bengals - Betting favorite is OC Bill Lazor. Rumors swirling that the Brown family would prefer either Hue Jackson or Vance Joseph, but fear fan backlash.

This just doesn't make any sense to me. What would make the Cardinals think that Kingsbury will turn them around? I know he's offensive minded and he'll have Rosen to work with but this just seems like a spontaneous hire. I know they don't care about defense in the Big 12 but Kliff had a losing record at Texas Tech for crying out loud.
