December 29, 20187 yr The difference in this game is 3 big plays. This game is no where near the domination of the 2012 game. Clemson scored 2 tds in last 2 minutes of the first half. One one a third and 16, and another on basically last play of first half where receiver made a heck of a play. It only takes a couple of big plays when one team is unable to generate anything on offense.

December 29, 20187 yr I thought this would be closer. No one has their teams better prepared to play at this time of the year than Dabo and Saban and I don’t believe that any other college coaches are close at this point.

ND fell into the right circumstances again, good team with everyone down on their schedule and no conference championship game to validate body of work.
