They have had freshmen teams with over 100 trying out.

As an aside, I heard this morning there are about 80 freshmen out, some with good size. Trinity has about 45. Don't know anything about quality of teams.

 

When I was a freshman at BG in 2014 we only had about 15.. That’s insane.

There was a big 6ft 4 kid that plays DE. When I saw him, I thought he was a senior. Don’t how good he is, but definitely want him getting off the bus first.

I saw on social media he had transferred to St. X. I saw he received some recognition as a freshman, but did know much about him. Glad his film backs up some of the recognition.

The football schedule on the school website now shows they will be scrimmaging Fern Creek Friday at St. X instead of Western.

Just saw the change. Says Gold vs Eastern and Fern Creek now. That will be better scrimmage.

Great idea for a little jamboree action by those three teams. Another great way for the Gold team to get a bunch of varsity reps.
