In scrimmage with Simon Kenton tomorrow, the first 3 quarters will be varsity and 4th quarter will be reserves/JV. Same format as last year.

It’s finally a Football Friday. While it’s not the season opener, it is finally an opportunity to hit and compete against a different team!

It's possible I'm just a little excited for the season to kickoff on Friday, but I just read Frakes write up about 6A in the Courier-Journal, and man St. X can't even get a little sentence about them. So based off last season, St. X beat Trinity and then beat Male with their backup QB, who is now the starter, and also was extremely competitive with Male in the rematch during the playoffs with a freshman QB starting for them. All this talk about Trinity and Male has me excited for this group on Poplar Level Rd this year, because I think they're going to playing with a huge chip on their shoulder, which sounds weird because it's St. X, but all the talk has been about Trinity and Male and how good they're going to be this season. I have a feeling the Tigers will open some eyes this year, and put every team on their schedule on notice!

 

Again, this is probably just because Friday is sooooooooooo close and I can't wait for the season to finally get here! (Over Reaction Wednesday) :dancingpa :jump:
