To beat the devils , you have to stop the run from many people , angles and directions of the wing t ... If Corbin can do this with front seven or eight , this will be a game ... Russell's execution of the wing t is always good .. The old coach has an eye for this

If they can't , Devils roll ...

I am looking forward to a "real game" for a change ... Like last years run ...

Good luck to both teams

I would love to see Corbine bring enough fans to fill the visitors bleachers. That would make for a great football game.

Its Corbin:D

And yes i believe 'Corbin' will bring alot of fans.

They just don't seem to get much mention in the local papers.:D

You must've been reading THE OTHER paper. :)

We can only talk up about how Corbin's 'D' hasn't allowed more than 200 yards in a game over the past five weeks so much.:thumb: :sssh:

Did yo see the paper today?

Les

Probably so....

How messy is the field? How much rain has it gotten the last few days?

Not a huge amount of accumulation, but it's been pretty constant and hasn't had a long enough break in the clouds to dry out. Looks like it should get to dry some tomorrow so it will depend on the wind/sun conditions then. It usually drains pretty well and dries out fast but I would expect a somewhat muddy field tomorrow.

What type of grass is it, even on a wet field the grass can lend traction. If it is Bermuda it will be torn to pieces as Bermuda dies in the fall, and the roots will not withstand much beating.

It's an amalgam, very little Bermuda in it and not much of anything in the middle of the field.

Could get ugly out there in that mess...hope nobody gets hurt.

As many times as I've heard of a muddy field being dangerous to play on, in my 10+ years as an athletic trainer, I've yet to see even one injury that could be attributed to a muddy playing surface. But as you said, it will likely be muddy although if the field sees some sun tomorrow with the usual wind over the surface, it should dry out significantly. Of course, Mother Nature may not oblige...

I love it when the mud flys.
