Come on 2, you know you aren’t going to get an actual reply to that. He won’t put any skin in the game, just will make wild predictions.

Hmm...if I was a betting man I'd be taking the points.

 

I think these two teams are within 3 points of one another. The variables that are in play, for me, are these:

* Does LSU get up for an American team and want to break the streak, or do the kids come in (in spite of Coach O's mumbling about how good the Knights are) over-confident?

 

* Does UCF play with a sense of let's beat ANOTHER SEC team in a bowl game to try and prove a point?

 

* Is what we saw from the back-up QB in the 2nd half an aberration or an indication of what he is capable of against a team like LSU?

 

* If UCF does get it rolling on offense, can a Burrow-led offense for the Tigers keep pace?

 

I'm not sure who I think wins, but I think it is a 3-5 point margin one way or the other.

It was assumed going into this game a few LSU players will sit out because of draft aspirations. That is huge advantage UCF as Greedy Williams, one of the corners, is the best player on either roster.

No power 5 team wants to play UCF, Boise St, Fresno State, Sisters of the south, etc. in a meaningless bowl game. It is a lose, lose situation. NFL hopefuls, if they decided to play, will go through the motions to avoid injury. And the rest of the team will just be happy to not be in class and lay up in a hotel for a couple of days. UCF will win this game rather easily, and they still will not be a top ten team.

If LSU puts forth even the slightest bit of effort they win this one fairly easily.

I do know Stanford stepped up to play UCF next year.

The back up is good and there is not much tape on him. Hard to prepare for the Knights right now. LSU offense is uninspired.

To predict a UCF win is one thing to say they win 42 to 14 is laughable.

I don't think UCF is a top 4 team, but I do think they win this game. IMO Auburn was a better team last year than this LSU team, and UCF beat them. I know they have a different QB now, but he is very athletic.

 

These small schools usually perform pretty well when they get a shot in big bowl games. They all have a chip on their shoulder.

 

Even Utah before they joined a P5 conference knocked of Nick Saban's Bama team in the Sugar Bowl. A Bama team who was undefeated in the SEC regular season that year. The next year Bama won the title. Obviously Boise State did their thing once in the big bowl games, and UCF last year against Auburn. So I think UCF wins by 10 or more, because LSU's offense will be like the normal LSU offense and will stall.
