Divergent Series

Featured Replies

I picked up the combo pack for pretty cheap at Walmart over the weekend. Wife and I watched all three over the last couple of days. Liked the first one quite a bit, but then is slowly tailed off for me. Interesting story line at first. No where near as good as The Hunger Games.

Anyone have any thoughts?

I watched them when they were in the theaters and my thoughts were the same then as yours. First one started a better than average story and the last two were weaker. Watchable but not great.

Pretty much how I feel. The series died with Beatrice's hair.

I read the books before watching the movies. First book was good, second was awful, & the third was good.

I enjoyed Divergent and tried watching the second one and couldn’t finish it a while ago due to losing interest. I haven’t watched or read anything regarding it since.

Seems like a lot agree that the story really fell off after the first. Glad I wasn't the only one.

Agreed. On a side note, if you haven't seen the Maze Runner series, that's pretty solid.

I watched the first movie and never got to the rest, glad I didn't after reading this.
