What. A. Game.

I caught all of the 2nd half and I'm so glad I did. Play of the game was the pick 6 for 100 yards. If Lexington Catholic scores they are up by two scores. Dickson took over the game.

The stat line will be off the charts

Great job on the updates...my radio feed crashed and missed the pick 6

I'm sure Boyle county doesn't like this result. Long bus ride for the Rebels next week .

It was alot of screaming by the announcers. :lol2:

Yes. Congrats Pirates. Way to represent Eastern Kentucky.

The players and coaches may not but I for one can't wait. I've been wanting to visit Pond Creek for awhile.

Allen no need to hang your head. You've had a hell of a career at Lexington Catholic and I wish you the very best at the next level.

Just a junior, right?

Sounds like a great game!! Belfry fans are some of the best in KY...enjoy this one.

Yep. Had to go back and check and make a correction.

He's a special talent.

Great, great effort from LexCath and Beau Allen.

I won't say Belfry won this game as much as Lexington Catholic just ran out of time.

Someone said this week that something had to give in a game between two teams who never lose a 2nd Round game it seems. Neither team tried to let the sun set on them.

Belfry Sophomore Isaac Dixon with one of the biggest individual games in Belfry History. After Belfry broke their serve with a fumble inside the Knight 10-yard trailing the game by 3, it looked like the Knights were about to extend this to a two-possession game at the start of the 4th Quarter.

Dixon picked off an Allen pass and returned 100 yards a monster Pick 6.

LexCath answered Belfry making huge play after huge play.

Belfry took over inside their own 10 and then Dixon refused to be denied. Dixon broke a pair or long runs to set up Belfry's final go ahead score.

The Pirates were able to survive LexCath's last drive.

Dixon unofficially right around 300 rushing yards as well as that 100-yard Pick 6.

I am not sure Belfry has the horsepower to run with Boyle, especially with their injury situation that was further hurt with Ben Bentley suffering what appears to be a significant injury, but man alive it is nice to at least have a chance.

Belfry broadcast stats
