Highlands 36 Madison Southern 7

Highlands got the running clock going in the first half. They will be a tough out in the playoffs.

No doubt. They are very talented and CCH is very aware.

One game at a time. Anderson County comes first, CovCath will just have to wait their turn.

Agreed.

I wish the birds were flying under the Colonels radar...

One week at a time though. Some Anderson Co parents/players/coaches were there at the game because of the bye. I had my Highlands gear on and one of them dried off a place on the stands for me and my 6 year old daughter. Stuff like that gives me a positive impression of an entire community. Funny how it works like that.

Mad South had some really good athletes. 4 and 11 would get touches on any team in Ky I think. They had some really big boys on the lines too. They would have played a way better game if the shotgun snaps were not so terrible.

Highlands looked good, WRs and QB were not fully in-sync at first but they worked out the kinks. Schwalbach ran really tough. The defense had a really nice goal line stand.

My bad. By the way, I was complimenting the Bluebirds.

Next week game should be a fun one.

Apologies, unintentional.
