The cannon has made a surprise appearance in Park Hills before.

I do remember that - down by the south endzone.

4 TDs for young Buck today.

I'm going to guess it was a "sparse" crowd in Park Hills today. Right?

Yeah...there too.

I know I'll be there, haven't been to many games this season but I'll be in Ft. Mitchell around 12:30pm.

Did Cov Cath get annexed when I wasn't looking?

Lets just say, that in my 40 years of watching CovCath football I don't remember seeing a smaller crowd. Now maybe there has been, but it was a small, small crowd. Don't even remember them announcing the amount of the split the pot at the game.

To me the at least, in our District, the KHSAA new playoffs format really put in dent in the old pocket book. Who really wants to see a team play another team that you just killed three weeks ago. My guess is the crowd at the Team from Ft. Thomas wasn't all that large either for their South Oldham game. At least under the old system you could watch a team that you haven't seen before.....

It was the smallest crowd I have ever seen for a varsity game in Ft. T.

The playoff format played a role, but so did girls state soccer tournament and the band at state as well other activities.

...it was, though, a strong turnout of Sophomore and Freshman parents...hmmmmm???? About how many does the Park Hills Field hold? Is ICN6 going to televise the game? (Grandma-ma wants to know!)

I was listening to the webcast and they said that the QB that started the 2nd half had never gotten in a varsity game before and he ended up completing a pass. Who was this kid? That's like CCH's 5th QB to complete a pass this year in a varsity game. That has to be some kind of record.

I didnt listen to the game. Who are the 5? Bleser, Wehry would be 2. Has Furnish completed a pass? Who am I missing?

The list would be

1.Josh Bleser

2. Kyle Furnish

3. John Whery(sp?)

4. Matt Young

5. Justin Shulte ( the one who completed the pass)

OK. I didn't see Matt and Justin complete a pass. Good for them.

For the record (pun inteneded), Sam Flynn broke the record for single-season tackles for CovCath in this game. Congratulations to the hardest working high schooler that I know.

Good for Samuel. That's a nice record.
