Well first of all I wanted to say congrats to NCC on a good win, you all seem to be clicking at the right time again and I look for you all to make it another win next week on your way back down to state.

 

Now for Holy Cross congrats to all the players on a great season, and especially the senior class. You all did a great job getting the program recognized. So one more time I just wanted to congratulate all of the HC players because all of you all did a great job this year, unlike some of your fans on here...

This is the second year in a row now that NCC has beat one of the teams that had a great season, and had all their fans saying stuff only to have NCC win by a wide margin in the playoffs over them. Because last year it was Bellevue, and now it was Holy Cross.

 

I know I will miss the rivalry against both Holy Cross and NCC, but I look forward to seeing new teams actually having a chance now with only Beechwood in the district instead of 2 top 5 Class A schools like NCC...

Nice win for NCC. A little of what i predicted. HC to be honest just got too big of heads (along with their fans). All in all though both teams played their hearts out and and have had tremendous seasons.

 

NCC is starting to click at the right time and p;roved game 1 was a fluke. Keep on rolling men.

 

HC. You had a great season and did a lot of good things this year. It just had to end sometime and friday night was the time. Nothing to be ashamed of though. You all played with class and pride. Good luck to both programs in the future.

Where are all the HC faithful that were getting loud about "changing of the guard" this yr in Class A NKY? Looks like it is back to the Beechwood/NCC thing again.

 

Only thing I will say is I told you so, "Two weeks left and the season is over!"

The Beechwood fans did not hear much from you last week, did you have to take a vacation to recuperate. It seems everyone is fine until they have to face reality. HC had a great yr, best in the programs existance, that is a great accomplishment for the kids, coaches and community. BHS/NCC have both been to the big dance and unfortunately, society judges greatness by wins and loses, mainly wins(Championships). If HC could have at least won the district, they would have been considered, maybe, a great team.

 

I don't think there are any great teams around this yr. Football around the state, in general, is down. Maybe everyone has equal talent but the onlly team I can think of that could be a lock for a state championship is Mercer Co.

 

As for your fans comment, I was honestly embarrassed by our attendance but when you have been around a program as long as I have you get use to it, meaning, no one was there. HC had more people there than BHS, shame on the BHS fans for not showing up because of ran. Last nights crowd was weak also. I can guarantee one thing, if they make it to the Pizza Palace, everyone in Ft Mitchell will show up, "jumping on the band wagon!"

 

I don't know what you are talking about but I would like to apologize. We don't teach our players to be disrespectful but unfortunately we can't teach the old dogs new tricks.

Oldcoach, do not make negative comments about our fans unless yours were perfect , which they were not. There are bad eggs in every group, yours included.

It was a great year for the HC team, but in the end it still ended just like any other year with them finishing no better than 3rd in the district and a 1st round loss. I bee saying that all year that it would end up like that, but the HC faithful let a little bit of success get to their heads...

 

But other than their fans, I want to congrualate one last time the HC team because you all did have a great season!
