Until the NCAA comes at them they will deny and deflect, Self is safe for now. North Carolina definitely gave the blueprint on how to handle scandal. Don't punish yourself. His claim is that the actions of Adidas caused him economic injury because he was not able to play at an NCAA division 1 school and develop into an NBA draft pick. Adidas getting popped probably cost him at least a couple hundred grand while playing college ball. He was much more profitable when he was able to play.
