Yes, I believe saying that a senior who hasnt even played that much varsity ball is one of the best shooters in the 10th region is a bit much. If he is that great of shooter than why not play him more?

I guess they will be allright, but they really don't have anyone who is an all-star. That could possibly to their advantage, but honestly, in guard-dominated NKY, where you have superstars like Austin Hill, Todd Jacobs, Mike Hester, Jimmy Uebel, Duran Jefferson, Arrez Henderson, Brandon Lenhof, Nic Simpson, ect. I think they will be overwhelmed on the perimeter as well as inside.

Coach Carr WILL have them playing hard regardless of who's out there. He'll need to have them "rebound by committee" like Tiger said earlier, and I agree they will have to shoot well to compete with the better teams on their schedule. Their district games will be critical, to assure a good draw in the District Tournament!!

Nikola Is his first name he is one of the strongest kids on the team....Has made tremendous strides from his Freshman year to now,,,It will be a toss up really,,,Either Nikola, Smith, Bianchi (JR) or Hillard (SOPH) that will get that finaly spot....

 

 

Bianchi and Hillard will probably start JV, but they don't have a shot at starting varsity.

If Scott is on from deep they'll be okay but once they go cold, it'll get ugly.

 

I will have to disagree with you because Sharp, Quigley, and Miller have the ability of taking the ball to the basket.

 

Scott won't have a lot of size, but they won't just be a outside shooting team.

I don't exactly know how Scott's perimeter players will do this year, but Sharp & Quigley held their own and actually outscored Hill, Jacobs, and Simpson in their only match-up in AAU this summer. Plus, IMO... Sharp & Quigley are as good as Lenhof is.

 

Scott's guards do go up against all the perimeter players you mentioned above during the regular season except for Lenhof, so I guess we will find out then how they compare to these other players.

They have to play these teams in the regular season but they won't have to deal with them come tourny time, when it counts.

I agree, he's not the tallest or the quickest guard around here but he is very crafty and really knows how to play the game.

Zimmer, Norman, and Walter. I think Zimmer plays football. Not sure about the other two, but I know there was another player on JV and Varsity that was kinda big. Scott hopefully will surprise everyone.

Hopefully they'll play hard enough to pull some upsets. They have some potential.

My best guess would be that Norman would be the first big guy off of the bench and depending upon match ups could get some starts. If he could be a physical presence he could help this team on the boards.

Zimmerman is not playing basketball this year. Norman will be coming off the bench. I don't know who Walter is.

 

Kenny Felts will also be another senior starter and his production will be important to the success of the team. Throw Ryne Smith in there also.

That's him... Also thought of another kid, Prince... He was a big guy also. Why are these guys not playing? Are they involved in other sports?
